David is Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Education, University of London, where he held the inaugural HSBC iNet Chair in International Leadership. David holds visiting professorships at the Catholic University of Santiago, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Universities of Edinburgh, Melbourne and Wales. David is a long time consultant to the OECD on research and policy issues in education and also to the World Health Organisation, the SOROS Foundation, the Aga Khan Foundation, and the World Bank. He also helped to design and lead school reform in several Victorian school regions. His most recent publication is Exploding the Myths of School Reform.
Prof David Hopkins
Patricia is a Research Associate at the National College for School Leadership (UK). She has been Director of Six Degrees of Learning which has included, consultant to the General Teaching Council and a national logistics partner for the next phase of the Teacher Learning Academy, (England); evaluation of the national Parent Support Advisers initiative in the London Borough of Southwark; and Leadership Consultant in the London Borough of Bexley, for schools causing concern. Patricia’s expertise includes experience and an international perspective in early childhood and primary education, leadership and teacher development, and school improvement.
